Edelweiss Analytics works seamlessly with many, if not most, of the book industry specific POS systems. Essentially, a POS system needs to be able to send a file fitting our specifications. Ideally, this is an automated process that takes place after closing each evening. Those files are then auto-processed on our end, feeding the many graphs and tools and insuring that the data is as up-to-date as possible. Unfortunately, Clover, Lightspeed, and Shopify POS systems are NOT currently compatible with Edelweiss Analytics or 360
Here’s a list of compatible POS systems:
(Note that BookManager is not able to provide historical/baseline files)
BookScape
Celerant
Foyles
Missouri Book System
Parable
Raytex custom for UOW
Raytex Standard
(*Note, the free version of Square does not provide sufficient Inventory Management capabilities—the Square for Retail version is required)
Tracksys Format
UBIC Standard
A few stores who use a homegrown or other POS system have been able to create a compatible file export that fits our required specifications. See those specifications below:
Treeline DIY Daily Extract Format (Format for the daily upload files)
Treeline Baseline File Formats (Format to upload historical data)
